  It's not a emergency room that they have..They change it to WAITING ROOM been there twice at night in very bad condition but as usual after providing your name then you wait after 1 hour if lucky go to registration end number of stupid question then 2 hours later triage room again long list of question then wait for doctor which never end finally you will have to give up and go..When is asked why is taking so long iam in very bad condition they said usualy it takes 8 hours to 12 hours IDIOT..STUPID staff.don't ever go there

  This facility is the most disgusting, filthy facility ever. I had surgery and of course, got a life threatening infection from their OR. I'm not alone. Research UC Davis and you'll see how high their infection rate is, along with having a much higher rate of re-admission because of post-surgical infections and complications. Ask around, just about everyone knows someone who got an infection from UC Davis. It took 2 days to get someone to clean feces off the toilet from another patient on the cardio-thoracic floor where I was "recovering" from surgery, or succumbing to infection...whichever way you want to look at it. Needless to say...you risk your life to get treatment at the UC Davis medical center. I have filed complaints with no response from UC Davis. Had surgery, pathology lost my specimen and then damaged it when they were supposed to save it for future tests. Blood on the walls and floors, poop on the toilet and floor of the bathroom, nurses that don't wash their hands, medication administered incorrectly so it burned and damaged my throat, nurses "forgetting" to show up to give pain medication after they opened my chest up, tried to feed me mushrooms in a meal when they were told a million times I was allergic to them, no curtain for room privacy even though we asked a total of 7 times over two different admissions totaling 14 days, and so many more horrible things! I feel lucky I survived my encounter with UC Davis and their "comprehensive" cancer facility. Do the research and get your care elsewhere. Don't let UC Davis profit at the cost of your health and well being. As for me, I'm off to Mayo Clinic in Arizona to have them fix the butcher job I got from Dr. Elizabeth David of the "comprehensive" Cancer Center. I wish I would have known better before I let them try to kill/treat me.
